Joan Miller, Broker, Vice President, GRI, ABR, PSCS  has enjoyed an active, rewarding career in commercial real estate and is celebrating 33 years as a Realtor. A past director of CAR she has been serving on the Professional Risk Reduction Committees as well as Professional Standards Committees for several years.

Locally she has served on many of the same committees for the Greater New Haven Board of Realtors. She has been a member of CID for over thirty years, is a member of ICSC and has attended ICSC's annual convention in Las Vegas for the past seven years.

A consistent award-winning producer, Joan received the Business Sale of the Year award by the New Haven CID group in December 09.   One highlight of her career was the successful completion in bringing TARGETS to Orange, CT. She was the listing and selling agent in that transaction that included a zone change for a 13 acre parcel involving two towns and several law suits.

As an Accredited Buyers Representative she gives her clients professional assistance in all phases of the transaction. Joan is an alumna of Quinnipiac University. She has held an appraiser license in the past and has an extensive background in commercial real estate leasing, investment and business brokerage. She has written several articles on commercial brokerage for the New England Real Estate Journal publication.   An editorial “Begin with the end in mind..” was featured in 2009

A life member of the Auxiliary of the Hospital of St Raphael, she has served as a past director, and has been involved in the prestigious Men's Invitational Golf Classic for the past 26 years. She has done fundraising for many charities and has chaired other golf tournaments for a local church benefit.  She is an original member of the Shoreline Sailing Club, presently located in Westbrook and an active golf member of Oronoque Country Club in Stratford.
