From there Harry went on to design marketing strategies for General Development in Florida, the Polaroid Corporation, The Champions Tennis Tour, Citi Bank, Chesseborough Ponds and others. He became a partner in the Englewood Country Club in New Jersey. Weichsel’s broad business background in sales, marketing and management lends itself perfectly to the development of Fairfield County. As a multi - million-dollar producer, he has consummated transactions in many parts of the State, including banks, drugstores, office buildings, land and condo developments, a sporting complex and most recently the multi- million-dollar sale of the Pine Island Marina in Groton, CT. Harry, who has six children, has diverse community interests and life involvement in the Bridgeport/Fairfield area. He is a PTR tennis instructor, and founder of the Grassroot Tennis Program in Bridgeport, that expanded to eight other cities in CT. He has been on the advisory Board and Board of Directors of the USTA/New England and Connecticut, served on the WORLD GAMES SPECIAL OLYMPICS committee, the Share the Warmth Program for the Homeless, and has chaired the Holocaust Committee in Bridgeport in the past.
